modern hotel theTyn-y-coed of which Mr. John A.Sherlock, also of the Berkley Boston, is proprietor and manager. The island of Campobello is picturesque with caves and cliffs, winding roads, and woods, quite like its giant neighbor, further out in the Bay of Fundy though on a miniature scale. Campobello and Deer Isle are the larger of the isles which shut out the sea fromPassamaquoddy Bay. The views from the hotel are enchanting. The summer temperatureis very fine and the quiet refined social life of the place makes the island of Campobello adelightful resort. The Tyn-y-coed has ample accommodations for 250 guests.
